Happy New Year!!
Happy New Year to everyone!! That's my family right after the stroke of midnight - we'd just had our midnight snack of Country Chicken (picture below :) and finished shooting up super lots of fireworks. This year was great, my dad is finally experimenting with things other than just firecrackers. Of course, Yotch took advantage and ordered lots of Roman Candles for the maids.
We all had dirty noses after but it was fun. Bwibs was so scared at first until we told him boys don't get scared. If only it were really true. :)
That was us before Yotch, Mama and I got drunk on a bottle of red wine no one else wanted to have. I'm going to miss all the traditions - the ang pao's, hanging the trinkets on the tree for every new baby, the New Year midnight meal after fireworks and now, hopefully, a new one - getting drunk, laughing our asses off and taking funny pictures of ourselves and dragging Papa along with us for the ride. :)
That was fun. I hope it's a sign of good things to come this new year.
