How to feel important at work:
1) Say one thing in pre-alignment meetings and have the complete reverse opinion OR go back to having no opinion in succeeding meetings. This demonstrates that you are open-minded and very willing to listen to others' inputs. Also that you have the power to keep changing things from day-to-day. After all, why let things move? This way, you can call crisis meetings and "step in".
2) Call your people uncollaborative when they ask for clarity on roles and responsibilities. This shows you care for your people by providing them with coaching and constructive feedback. Also demonstrates that you are the collaborative one.
3) Micro-manage each and every decision. If possible, do their job. After all, you are the boss. Why give your people any power at all? Centralize, centralize, centralize!

ha ha, maraming salamat. i really miss my old F&HC team as well, though i'm grateful i have enough good memories to last a lifetime :) i'll be back weekend of march 23/24. will u be in town (singapore) that weekend? enjoy the rest of your time in europe!
hay. i miss you more and more each day :) naks... harvs, i'm in manila now and i'm back 25th onwards. pwede na ba kitang i-book ng lunch/dinner/coffee the wkend after? say mar 30/31? :)
naks! nakakataba naman ng puso... kung pwede lang, bibigyan kita ng merit increase =) i am not 100% certain if i'll be in singapore during that weekend. will let you know kung uuwi ako. baka kasi busy kami with our strat plan for next fiscal year (which starts july 1st, gaya ng P&G).
"enjoy" election fever in manila... i can't believe manny pacquiao is running for congressman... this is one fight where i hope he'll get KO'd. buti naman, it seems there are actually a lot of people who are against his decision.
