A Week of Parties
I've finally caved in to practicality -- you can see my blog and more pictures, videos, etc on www.moanday.multiply.com. I'll still keep this site updated since I love the template but check out the other site as well for so much more. :)This week has been just absolute terrific fun. Never mind that I got sick from the winter cold in Kobe (more on this and Kobe beef once I upload the pictures), this has just been a week of non-stop partying:
1) ABBA night, P&G's version of the Oscars. Sarah and Jen, the Pinoy wonders, turn Shangri-la ballroom into a hip-and-happening club. Overnight, the geeks become cool. Shameless partying, shameless dancing and shameless in drag (Go Jopa!).

Ariel may not have won, but that didn't stop us from pretending we did and stealing other people's trophies (only for the pictures).
What would I do without my adorable team, Carlo and Tin?
2) Ferdie and Irene invite us into their uber-lovely home for Ezer and Gabby's despedida.
They're my ideal family -- rock-solid marriage (still in love after 13 years!),
the cutest kids and a home meant for magazines.
After a fantastic Chinese New Year theme dinner,
we play Taboo where Rhinn can't escape his past (jealous, focus) and Gerry makes his presence felt (homo sapiens at pati panda).
So fun!

3) Lunch at Harvey's for Michelle's fantastic salpicao and baked sole. Finally get to see the Michelin baby that is Caitlin -- sooooo cute and adorable. I didn't get to carry her as I was sick but that may have been a good thing since it didn't look like I could even lift her up! :) With Harvey leaving Singapore, I guess it's just another sign that it's time to go.
